NADINE MNEIMNEH's collections are designed and produced in Nadine's atelier with utmost attention to finishing. The Lebanese Designer finds inspiration in traditional garments and ancient craft, and likes to experiment with different hand manipulation techniques.
She chooses to keep a slower pace, and refuses to adhere to the fast fashion rhythm. By doing so, her aim is to produce timeless collections, with pieces that would age gracefully a woman's closet. She chooses to focus on the construction and fit, and carefully picks her fabrics and materials. She also cares to benefit our local community, and she does so by procuring her fabrics and supplies from local vendors.
Besides, she would also use dead-stock fabrics and re-purpose her fabrics scraps into patchwork to create limited-edition pieces.
Born and bred in Paris, Nadine Mneimneh returned to Lebanon in 2001 and obtained her BBA from the American University of Beirut. Six years of work experience in fashion, and another bachelor degree in fashion design from ESMOD Beirut later, she launched her eponymous label with the help of the Starch Foundation in 2010.
